Defining Recommendations

For each Consequence in the HAZOP, you can enter Recommendations:

Defining Recommendations

For each Consequence, define its Recommendations:

• Click on the Recommendation card next to the Consequence (and ALARP).
• Enter a description for the Recommendation.
• You can use “Intelligent Text Recognition System” to add Equipment to the card. Just start typing the Equipment name in the description field and click <Ctrl> + <Space>. The Equipment will be added to the card (and always the Node card as well), but it will also be added as a link in the description field.
• Click the fold-out bar.
• Enter an Owner and select a Priority and Status.
• Also specify the Due Date and Completion Date.
• Select an Associated Equipment, if you have not added the Equipment yet.
• Close the details window.

All the Recommendations, entered on the HAZOP Tab, are summarized on the Recommendations Summary Tab .

Adding / Copying / Pasting / Deleting Recommendations

You can add additional Recommendations for the Consequence, but only when the first Recommendation has been defined.

Use the buttons in the Toolbar or the keyboard shortcuts to Add / Copy / Paste / Delete Recommendations.
