Exporting and Importing FM Design Data

This overview explains how to Export and Import AREA-FLOC Design Data from the FLOC Main Menu and the FMA Areas Dashboard.

The AREA-FLOC Design Data can be exported from the FLOC Main Screen (Grid List) in Excel format. Also, the exported sheets can be used to update / add additional data and then be imported back into IMS, i.e., this way you can make bulk updates to your AREA-FLOCs.

Exporting FM Design Data

To export FM Design Data:

  • Select the FLOCs you want to export.

  • Click the Export button in the Toolbar.

  • In the pop-up window, click Click here to export Area Design export.

Take note

Only FLOCs with the "AREA-FLOC" Location Type will be exported, even if you select FLOCs with other Location Types.

Importing FM Design Data

To importing FM Design Data:

  • Click the Import button in the Toolbar.

  • In the Hierarchy section, select "Area Design."

In the Hiarerachy section, click Area design.

  • Click Browse.

  • Select the file you want to upload from your computer.

  • Click Next.

Exporting FM Design Data from the FMA Areas Dashboard

Additionally, the export FM Design data functionality is available on the FMA Areas Dashboard, which can be accessed by following these steps:

  • In the IMS Main Menu, click on Dashboard.

  • From the dropdown menu, select FMA Areas Dashboard.

  • In the right sidebar, click the FM Schedules button.

  • Click Export.
