Role Improvements
New FCM Engineer Role
IMS now has a new FCM ENGINEER role that allows users to edit flange designs and do the calculations.

The new role can be assigned to existing and new IMS users.

FCM Admin can create Planned Events
The FMC Admin role can now create Planned Events and these IMS Planned Events are now available as a Main Menu in FCM.
Calculation Improvements
Info Button Added to Charts
All charts in FCM now have info buttons to explain the displayed context.

Data Source (Manual Input vs System Calc) Shown
When FCM users enter manual values, they can have the system calculated values displayed as well. A new grid column is now available to show the calculation’s source, and the different data sources are also shown on a chart.

Calculation Disclaimer
FCM now displays a disclaimer to emphasize that the FCM engineer is responsible for providing calculations.

First Calculation Form's DESCRIPTION (then NAME) shown
For the calculation form, emphasis has been put on the form DESCRIPTION, while the calculation NAME is visible in the next line.

Not Allowing Calculation Sharing
Sharing the calculations by publishing them to a Shared Library is not allowed. Users will get a warning when they try to do this.

Approve Button Dropdown Removed
The Calculation Approve Button used to have a dropdown. As this was superfluous, and therefore the dropdown was removed.

Spec Export/Import
The Equipment Spec export/import was added to IMS FCM. This functionality was already available in IMS PEI and RCM. This export/import Template can be used for the bulk export and import of Equipment Specs.
The Spec export for import is available in the Equipment Main Screen grid, via the Export button. Users need to select the desired Equipment, click the Export button and then Click here for Import Specs. This will open the Spec Names Filter where the desired specs can be selected. Then the user can click OK to download the .xlsx file..png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A55%3A11Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A07%3A11Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=w8IOw%2BNtGnyPGSiDQO3k9t8mqNP2eFTzN8M0Q2gbe4Q%3D)
When the user clicks the Import button, the Import Wizard will open. (Here it is also possible to download the Hierarchy specs Template).
Users can then click Browse to import the the previously exported (or manually filled in) Hierarchy specs Template. If the built-in export for import or Template is used, then in Step 3, the columns will already mapped correctly.

The normal import process will be followed (see Importing Data via Settings), with Step 4 giving an overview of the actions (what was found, what must be created, what will not be created, what will be updated, and what will be skipped).
