PEI Release 3.10b

July 2019

Version 3.10b brings updates to existing features of w-IMS. Its main target is to stabilize and improve performance.

Features

1. Text and annotation on image attachments for schedules and condition history

IMSFB-10125

After a photo is taken of an image attached on schedules for plan codes or condition history for actions preformed, conditions found or repair codes, users can now:

  • Draw on the image with different colors
  • Place text and adjust the size of it
  • Rotate imageFigure 1: Attachments with toolbar

2. Ability to use browser’s date picker

IMSFB-9938

To make IMS friendlier on desktops, tablets, and other mobile devices, instead of the regular date picker, users can now choose to use the native date picker. Current date picker was standardised across all devices (mobile and desktop) which was not necessarily optimised for user’s device.

From this version, the user can choose in user setting to apply native (browser’s) date picker instead of IMS date picker. This means date picker will look differently on every browser and device but it will be friendlier for the user to use, especially on mobile devices.

Improvements

1. When creating CAIR, set ME and EI by default

IMSFB-9896

When the user creates a schedule of type CAIR, IMS will preselect ME AND EI for the responsible discipline. The user can change it to other values if required.

2. When creating ECH and Schedule, the date is set on the current date

IMSFB-9893

To reduce number of clicks and make IMS easier to use, dates upon schedule and ECH creation will default to the current date. The user can always change the proposed dates.

3. Schedules on equipment without RBI components and circuits to not show RBI and measurement set buttons

IMSFB-10126

Schedules on equipment without RBI components and circuits are not showing anymore RBI button and buttons for creating measurement sets. Until now, RBI and measurement set button were showing even equipment that does not have RBI component and circuits which is not the case anymore. Schedules on equipment with RBI component or circuit will show RBI or measurement set buttons.

4. General components will be automatically added to schedule scope if it is the only component of equipment

IMSFB-9894

Upon schedule creation, if equipment has only a general component, that

component will be added to the schedule’s scope automatically. If the equipment has multiple components, the user will have to determine the scope of schedule by selecting available components.

5. New specs in export: Natl. board NO.

IMSFB-7960

In spec export, Natl. board NO. is added. Same values can also be imported now.

6. Measurement set import improvements

IMSFB-10386

To make measurement set import simpler, IMS now offers a simple template for measurement set import. Minimum necessary fields for the Measurement import are only a few while full template always offers to map all the fields for importing of the Circuit and CML together with Measurement. That is why IMS now offers a compact import template with only the fields necessary for the import of Measurement:

  • Equipment ID
  • Measurement Set ID
  • Circuit ID
  • Sub-circuit ID
  • CML ID
  • Inspection Method
  • Measuring Temp
  • Measuring date
  • WT Measurement
  • Comment
  • Renewal indicator
  • Must Get
  • Quality Indicator
  • PDMP Name
  • PDMP Measurement Point
  • PDMP MatrixLocation
  • Technician
  • Company

7. Corrosion loops, components and circuits now can have short URLs

IMSFB-10387

Users are now able to access corrosion loops, components or circuits by using the next URL structures:

Loop:

  • WebsiteUrl/#Loop/{UnitName}/{CorrosionLoopName}
  • Component:
    • WebsiteUrl/#Component/{EquipmentName}/{ComponentName}
    • WebsiteUrl/#Component/{EquipmentNumber}/{ComponentNa me}
  • Circuit:
    • WebsiteUrl/#Circuit/{EquipmentName}/{CircuitName}
    • WebsiteUrl/#Circuit/{EquipmentNumber}/{CircuitName}

8. Improved adding top 10 site queries on inspector dashboard

IMSD-11105

Inspector admins can now define up to 10 queries on the inspector dashboard for site-level which are important to them. Those queries are visible to all users on inspector dashboard. In this version, selecting existing queries and ordering of queries has been improved and made intuitive. INSP ADM users have button “Add” and “Edit”. With add button, a list of all possible queries is shown from which desired queries can be selected. With edit button, inspector admins can order queries by priority or delete them.
