Article summary

When referring to a given set of IMS entities (ECH, Equipment, Floc …) support workers will not know how the given set of data has been obtained in the grid if the required information is omitted or simply a screenshot of an IMS grid is provided.

Take Note
The current page URL does not have to hold any information regarding the scope of items that are currently filtered. The current page URL will be submitted through the Feedback tool, however it is not a given that the URL will always contain relevant information.

As an example, on the following screenshots we can see that there is a scoping filter applied (1), there are some Flocs that have been pinned (2) and a search has been performed (3).

Switching over to the Equipment grid will present a screenshot with even less information. We can see that something was pinned, but only a part of the name of the first item is visible.

When reporting an issue with the Search/Filter functionality, specific information describing all search criteria must be provided. If there is an item missing from the set, then information (e.g., the entity Name) of the item should be provided.

Take Note
When reporting an issue with a given set of items, the best option is to simply export the set from the grid and include the exported file as an attachement to the feedback.
