Article summary

Screenshots can be taken with any of the several readily available tools. “Snipping tool” (or “Snip & sketch”) is a very simple tool coming preinstalled with MS Windows that can be used to take advantage of this functionality.

The tool allows for simple drawing and highlighting tools to allow the user to better explain the issue. Screenshot CTRL + C can be used to copy the screenshot to the system clipboard and make it available for pasting in a presentation or a word file.

When submitting screenshots, it should be checked that the screenshot is taken of a general area the screenshot is referring to. As an example, which of the two following screenshots offer more context?

Or this one?

Both screenshots are referring to the same situation, however the first screenshot only shows the generic error without any context while the other screenshot shows an issue with analysis import and provides a timecode at which the crash occurred.
