Step 8 Rate Consequence of Failure

Aim

Determine per Component per DM the Consequences of Failure (CoF) for the Most Credible Failure Scenario (defined in Step 4) for the following Consequence categories:

• Asset: Economic damage to the asset including consequential business loss.
• People: Health and safety consequences resulting from loss of primary containment.
• Environment: Environmental consequences resulting from loss of primary containment.
• Community: Reputational consequences of an incident.
