YouTrack is a tool for issue management. It is used for capturing all support issues, bug reports and feature requests. All requests submitted via the feedback button are visible in YouTrack.
Due to security and privacy reasons, an account is required to use YouTrack.
Requesting a YouTrack account
In order to get access to YouTrack, submit a request via the feedback button. State who needs an account (you or several colleagues) by providing the email address(es).
After the request, the account(s) will be created in a reasonable time frame, depending on the number of accounts needed.
Searching for an issue in YouTrack
YouTrack contains all requests. This makes searching very useful. In order to search for an issue, click in the search bar.
You can search for various parameter, such as:- YouTrack ID (IMSFB-XXX)
- Title
- Description
- AppSite (asset name)
- AppSiteUser (username of person which submitted the issue via feedback button)
- Created
- Type (feature, bug, support, question...)
- Other options
Saving the YouTrack Query
YouTrack supports advanced querying of issues and it is good to save the Query.
To save the Query:
- Click the save button on the right side of the Query field.
- Your query will then be saved and available to quick select in the left pane.
