Creating Local RSLs from RCM Analyses

Prev Next

You can create a Local RSL directly from a completed RCM Analysis. This lets you build the Assessment once and reuse it as a template for similar Equipment within the same Equipment group or FLOC type, instead of repeating the full RCM Analysis for each asset.

How to create a Local RSL

  1. Click Analysis to open the Analysis Main Screen (Grid List).

  2. Select the RCM Analysis you want to use as the source.

  3. Click the Create RSL from Tag Analysis button.

  4. Define the Title, Description, Location Type, and Equipment Group, and set whether the RSL is active.

  5. Click Save.

Note

  • Document the new RSL and any revisions applied.

  • Record why the RSL was created — this helps future reviewers understand its intent.

  • Just as a Global RSL must be Localized before use, an RSL created from an RCM Analysis may need to be Generalized before you apply it elsewhere — for example, by removing Equipment-specific details that won't apply to other assets in the group.
