Transition of Schedule Categories

In order to support the MAC Recommended Practices to categorize PEI Schedules based on task criticality rating, IMS now supports new Schedule Categories A, B, C, and D in addition to the existing Categories 1, 2, and 3 which determine the priority of a Schedule.

Transition from 1/2/3 to A/B/C/D categories impacts all methodologies and disciplines in IMS, including PEI, RCM, SIS, PLSS, FCM, Civil, FMA, and TAT.

Once an asset decides to use A/B/C/D categories:

  • Schedule Categories 1/2/3 are getting expired so those cannot be used for new Schedules.
  • New Schedule categories A/B/C/D are added which can be used for new Schedules.
  • Current uncredited Schedules will be transitioned from 1/2/3 to A/B/C/D Categories.
  • Credited Schedules are going to remain with Categories 1/2/3 for future reference.

The A/B/C/D category of the schedule is determined by the legal status and 1/2/3 categories of the Schedule and the associated FLOC/Equipment ABC Indicator.

CARMA Improvements

CARMA Corrosion Rate shown in TrendPlot

IMSFB-40255

IMSFB-40254

We have added four new fields to the TrendPlot legend on the Circuit Details page, under the CLM Measurement History tab. These fields are displayed only when the "Include CARMA" checkbox is ticked. The new fields are:

  • CARMA Custom CR (730 DAYS).
  • CARMA Current CR (1 DAY).
  • CARMA LongTerm CR (92 MTH).
  • CARMA ShortTerm CR (6 MTH).

The data for these fields is now being obtained from API services for the default date where the Start date is "Today - 2 years", and the End date is "Today's date". The four fields currently show values on today's date. Users can zoom in to see the Plot values.

User Instructions

To find out more about the CARMA data displayed in the TrendPlot see: Showing CARMA data in TrendPlot.

To learn more about the TrendPlots in the Circuit Details Page and SIDAP Screen see: TrendPlot.

Configurable End Date Fallback for CARMA

IMSFB-39760

We have added a new Application Settings called CARMA End Date fallback which is used for the End Date sent to the CARMA service. The new Application Setting uses a configured date in the format YYYY-MM-DD as an End Date for TendPlot data of the CMLs on the Circuits. If the B value is 1, then this date is forced. Otherwise, it is a fallback in case the system cannot find the max IMS PDMP prediction date.

User Instructions
If you need to Edit the CARMA End date see:  CARMA Service End date Configuration.

"Has CARMA" Column and Filter added

IMSFB-40252

We added the columns "Has CARMA" and the "Has CARMA" Filter to the CML Measurement History Tab on the Circuit Detail Page and on the CML Main Screen. The Filter is also present on the Circuit Main Screen.

User Instructions

To learn more about the data in the Has CARMA column and filter see: CARMA Service User Guide.

To find out more about the CML Measurement History Tab on the Circuit Details Page see: The CML Measurement History Tab.

Data Lake Improvements

CML Coordinates added

IMSFB-40737

CML coordinates (Latitude, Longitude, Altitude) are now available to transfer.

Schedule Notification number, WO and MP number added

IMSFB-40738

The Schedule Notification number, WO and MP number are now also available to transfer.

AIR3D Improvements

Observation Scan

Filtering of Observation Scan Image Segments

IMSFB-40885

It is now possible to Filter Image Segments by selecting the Annotated option in the Observation Scan Image Gallery filters. Only those Image Segments with annotations will be returned.

Observation Scan Image Gallery returns Image Segments satisfying filter criteria.

Filtering Annotated Images by Issue Class

IMSFB-40886

A new Filter has been added that allows you to filter images in the Observation Scan Image Gallery by Issue Class.

User Instructions
For more information on using the Observation Scan Image Gallery filters, see: Filtering Images.

New Image Search

IMSFB-40171

Previously, image search capability was limited in Observation Scan. It is now possible to search for images using Image Name or the Azure Storage Path.

User Instructions
To learn more about Searching for Images in Observation see: Searching for Images.

Introduce cloning of Observation Scan image groups from IMS Acceptance to Production

IMSFB-40280

Cloning of Projects from acceptance to Production was limited to 3D Observation Project only. Now the Observation Scan annotated images can be migrated too. So now in cloned 3D Observation projects, while exploring the Observation Item's annotated images, users can use the link to see the image in Observation Scan.

3D Localization

Selecting API Issue Classes to include in 3D Localization

IMSFB-40193

IMS now allows you to select only those API Issue Classes to start a 3D Localization on. The Project will ignore images without annotations containing the selected API Issue Classes. This way unresolved projects can be prevented.

Run 3D Localization on Selected Images in the Image Gallery

IMSFB-40887

It is now possible to run 3D Localization on multiple selected images in the Observation Scan Image Gallery.

Additional Point Cloud Import Functionality

IMSFB-40478

Two new features have been added to Point Cloud Import.  First, the Point Cloud importer will issue a warning if storage space is insufficient. When Try Again is clicked, you are taken back to the original Point Cloud Import dialog.

Point Cloud Import disk space warning. The second feature allows you to cancel Importing of a Point Cloud prior to the completion of the import.  When Cancel is clicked, you are taken back to the original Point Cloud Import dialog.

IMSFB-41590 API call for fetching issue mesh

IMS now has the ability to display historical data related to Observation Items in its 3D models.  IMS will display the size and area of issues as well as the calculated growth rate of issue meshes.
