For your convenience, we list here some frequently asked support questions that we received. We will continue building on this list.

How can I change a Corrosion Loop (CL) Parent from Plant to Unit, i.e., how can I move the CL from a Plant to a Unit?

If the Corrosion Loop (CL) is created under a Plant, it is not possible to edit the hierarchy and change the Parent to a Unit. The CL can only be assigned to a new Plant. It is also not possible to edit the CL hierarchy through the import, as the import will create a new CL (with the same Name) under the newly specified Unit or Plant. So, the solution is to create a new CL on the desired Unit, with the original Degradation Mechanisms, IOWs, RBI Components, etc. The easiest option is to export the original CL for import. Then change the hierarchy information and import it back in. A new CL will be created under the new hierarchy. Afterward, the original CL on the Plant level can be deleted. For more information see Creating Corrosion Loops.

How can I delete a Degradation Mechanism (DM) from Corrosion Loop (CL) when I get the warning “mechanism is currently in use on open Schedules“?

You need to first remove the RBI Component-DM from the Schedule(s) of which it is in Scope. Then you can remove the assigned DM from the Component, i.e., expired the RBI Analysis. Only when the DM is not in scope for any Schedule and all RBI Analyses for this DM are expired, can it be deleted from the CL. For more information see Deleting DMs, Barriers, Notes.

Why am I not allowed to delete a Component?

Once the Component is added to the Schedule scope it becomes part of the permanent historical record and deletion without deleting the Schedule is not allowed. More details here.

Why is specific Equipment not appearing in the particular stage in the Data Quantification section of the RBI Dashboard?

All details on this calculation can be found here.

Why do counts on the Leak Monitoring Dashboard not match counts shown with Leak Checklist filters applied on the ECH grid?

All details on the Leak Monitor Dashboard can be found here.

How can one handle Circuits with a large amount of low quality Measurements?

We recommend exporting the data and importing the cleaned-up data. To learn more see Handling Circuits with a large amount of low quality Measurements.

Why can I not import a Measurements Set?

Measurement Sets can only be imported on active Circuits. If you run into an error importing an MSET, first check that the import target Circuit is active. More about working with Measurement Sets can be found here.

Why can I having trouble creating or completing a Measurement Set on a Circuit?

The following conditions should be considered when creating and completing MSETs on a Circuit:

  • Only one incomplete MSET is allowed per Circuit.

  • MSETs with multiple Circuits may show a misleading status (Incomplete, Complete).

  • Circuits added to a Measurement Set without measurements will count as not completed.

What happens in terms of RBI when an ECH is Final Approved?
