PL Internal Corrosion Appendix 1. Introduction TP Test Cases

There are four cases described in this appendix, depending on whether the data is entered manually or in bulk and whether there is a Schedule available or not.

Test Cases

The test cases are organized based on the method of data entry and the availability of a Schedule. They are presented in a table as follows:

The import files used in this Appendix are available in the file below. 

You can go through the test cases, as an exercise, by first performing the following steps:

1. Download the import file to your computer and unpack it.
2. Import Pipeline Equipment:
   • Go to the FLOC Main Screen.
   • Search for the FLOC "IC Internal Corrosion Test Case" and, if present, delete the Equipment under it.
   • If the applicable FLOC does not exist, create a FLOC with FLOC ID "IC Internal Corrosion Test Case".
   • Navigate to Settings \ Data Transfer \ Data Import.
   • Select the Pipeline Equipment template.
     
     
   • Click Browse. 
   • Select the file "01 Import FLOC Equipm MAOP Internal Corrosion via ECH.xlsx" from your computer.
   • Click Next.
   • Select "Pipeline Equipment" from the drop-down menu.
   • Click Next two more times, and the Pipeline Equipment "IC Internal Corrosion Test Case P1" to IC "Internal Corrosion Test Case P6" will be created.
3.  Import MAOP:
   • On the Data Import page, select the MAOP history template.
   • Click Browse. 
   • Select the file "01 Import FLOC Equipm MAOP Internal Corrosion via ECH.xlsx" from your computer.

• Click Next.
• Select "MAOP" sheet from the drop-down menu.
• Click Next two more times.
