Article summary

This section of the Handbook describes how Jobs can be created and managed in FCM.

Jobs in FCM are a self-contained entity that groups together Schedules to conduct Preventative or Corrective maintenance on Flange Connections (Flanges and Grayloc).

Typically, a Job’s scope includes only as many flanges as can be inspected, repaired or maintained in a short period of time, ranging from one to several days worth of work.

When Flange Connections are added to a Job, the details of the Equipment can be customized to the needs of the specific Job without affecting the original Equipment.

The process of Creating Jobs and ECHs in FCM is described in the following pages.
