How to create historical inspection history records (ECHs)

Prev Next

It may happen that you have done some inspections in the past of which you want to capture the information in IMS. In this case we recommend creating the Inspection Schedules via import and then crediting then on this past date in ECHs (which can also be created via import).

Creating the Schedules

Schedules with past dates can be created through import. The Created date can only be set during Schedule creation and it refers to the starting date for the NID calculation.

Crediting the Schedules in ECHs

Later the same Schedule can be credited in an ECH on a Condition Date in the past. This can also be done via import.

A new recurring Schedule will be correctly created based on that ECH.
