Article summary

The Results tab is available in View 1 (opening screen). The purpose of the Results tab is to show which CMLs/MPs have Anomalies and to provide an overview of the different Corrosion Rates for the MPs.

Results Grid Information

In the grid, the following columns will be displayed:

Header

Description

Equipment

The EquipmentID

Circuit

The Circuit name

Subcircuit

The sub-Circuit name

CML

The condition measurement location

MP

The condition measurement position

Type

The CML type (Pipe, Elbow, …)

Anomaly

This column contains a red cross if an anomaly has been detected in the data trend. So the S-IDAP will use either Model 2, 3 or 4.

See S-IDAP Methodology - Dynamic Linear Modeling for more information on these 4 models.

Anomaly last 2

This column contains a red cross if an anomaly has been detected in the data trend in one of the last two readings. Thus, in the picture above, only for the last picture

Max CR

The max CR of ShortCR, Long CR, LinRegCR, Sugg CR and S-IDAP CR (taking the S-IDAP CR into account makes it different compared to the Calc Summary, this CR is not used in the calc summary)

Min RL

The minimum remaining life for that CML/MP

Min NID

The minimum next inspection date for that CML/MP

Validated

In here the user can specify that he/she has validated the data. Select the Edit button at the beginning of the row (pencil icon), (un)select Validated, add a comment and hit the Save button.

Comment

In here the user can specify a comment for the CML/MP. See above.

S-IDAP CR

The corrosion rate based on the dynamic linear model

S-IDAP RL

The remaining life corresponding to the S-IDAP CR (only for display purposes)

S-IDAP NID

The next inspection date corresponding to the S-IDAP CR

Short CR

The short corrosion rate

Short RL

The remaining life corresponding to the short corrosion rate

Short NID

The next inspection date corresponding to the short corrosion rate

Long CR

The long term corrosion rate

Long RL

The remaining life corresponding to the long corrosion rate

Long NID

The next inspection date corresponding to the long corrosion rate

LinReg CR

The corrosion rate based on linear regression

LinReg RL

The remaining life corresponding to the linear regression corrosion rate

LinReg NID

The next inspection date corresponding to the linear regression corrosion rate

R2

The R-squared value.

Sugg CR

The suggested corrosion rate for the circuit

Sugg RL

The remaining life corresponding to the suggested corrosion rate

Sugg NID

The next inspection date corresponding to the suggested corrosion rate

Renewal Thickness

The renewal thickness

RCA

The remaining Corrosion Allowance

Toolbar

On the top of the grid the following functionalities are available:

In the order of

  • Search

  • Expand the grid to the full size of the screen

  • Export the grid to an Excel file

  • Show information about the CML/MP

  • The Filter feature

  • Settings in the grid. In here the columns can be frozen and the order of column titles can be changed.

Data Analysis Steps

The steps that always are recommended to be performed are:

  • Sort on the Anomalies.

  • Investigate the Anomalies.

  • Sort on max Corrosion Rate with the highest Corrosion Rate at the top of the grid.

  • Investigate the CMLs/MPs with these high Corrosion Rates.

  • Sort on minimum Remaining Life with the earliest in time at the top of the grid.

  • Investigate the CMLs/MPs with the shortest Remaining Life.
